Lisa

Jensen

Lisa is the founder and CEO of the Energy Advice Team and has has been in the energy industry for over 20 years. Lisa is personally responsible for over 1,000 solar installations in Norfolk and Suffolk.  She thrives on helping others and is  passionate about renewable energy especially solar panels.  Sadly, after meeting too many individuals who had the wool pulled over their eyes by overzealous salesmen or an installation carried out by a cowboy outfit, she set up the Energy Advice Team.

Geri

Logan

Geri has been in the energy sector for 18 years.  She commenced her training with one of the big six energy companies and moved to Renewable Energy when the Feed In Tariff was introduced back in 2010.  Since then she has assisted 100's of homeowners drastically reduce their energy bills by advising them on whether solar panels and battery storage would be suitable for their lifestyle.  Geri is based in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Emily commenced her career as an EPC Assessor and became an Energy Consultant back in 2015 having realised her knowledge would be of significant benefit to homeowners and tenants alike.  She is passionate about climate change and focuses on providing accurate advice on how to reduce energy bills whilst protecting the planet.  Emily provides face to face consultations in the North of England.

Why do you need our help?

Prior to the energy price increases in 2022 when Russia invaded the Ukraine, there were approximately 300 renewable energy installers in the United Kingdom.  Today the figure is closer to 3,000.  We see them as opportunist, here to make a few Pounds and no doubt will disappear as quickly as they appeared.  Relying on the likes of "positive feedback" posted on the internet is never a good choice as sadly it is far too easy to buy reviews these days.

The Energy Advice Team only work with reputable installers that we personally have vetted and will vouch for.  So aside from receiving totally honest advice, you can be sure the installer that we recommend will carry out the job using only the best products, to a very high professional standard and at a fair price.

Do we charge a fee?

Absolutely not.  Our consultation be it face to face or via the telephone is completely free of charge to the end user.  Presumably, you are now asking how we get paid.  We receive a small referral fee from the installer who would have otherwise paid advertising costs.  This still allows us to remain impartial as we work with many installers across the UK.  We match the customer with the installer not the other way around.

What if my energy bills are low?

If you fortunate enough to have low energy bills, the first question we would ask is why are you looking at renewable energy?  If your answer is because you would like to be greener and do your bit for the environment, we will talk you through the process and make some recommendations based on your response.  If your answer is to save money, it is highly likely that renewable energy will not do that within a reasonable amount of time and we will advise you against it.  Is that honest enough?
